Prior to the fitting of Cleats or 'G' Clamps, the Ductmate Flanges should be pulled together with vice grips. Sufficient pressure should be applied to compress the Gasket to allow the Cleats to be clipped over. Start fitting the Cleats measuring from the corner bolt and work towards the centre of the duct at specified centres.
Cleats or 'G' Clamps are to be fitted at the following intervals:-
