TECHNICAL TEST PARAMETERS

The characteristics of a particular duct connection or joint are classified in the HVCA manual DW144; the joint rating for 45 is J5 for all pressure classes and J6 for low pressure. With a centrally fitted tie-bar the Ductmate 45 is a J6 rating for medium and high pressure. These joint ratings conform to the requirements for HVCA DW/TMI as certified by BSRIA, the approved HVCA Test House.
