The Cablemate System has been designed for speed, strength and ease of installation.

Insert the wire rope through the free flowing side of the Clutcher. |

Wrap the wire rope around
the object being suspended (circular duct in this case). |

Thread the wire rope through the Clutcher's locking device. |

Pull the wire rope to make the connection tight to the object being suspended. |

Cut the excess wire rope leaving a mimimum pull through of 50mm

Object is now successfully suspended. |
ANGLED INSTALLATIONS |
Please note that Working Load Limits will be reduced when hanaging at an angle. Please refer to our information page and Guidance Notes for further details. |

TESTING |
Ductmate’s Clutcher has been tested to a 5:1 safety factor. |

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS |

- Do not exceed the stated product Load Rating.
- Always use the specified Ductmate Wire Rope.
- Do not use on coated wire rope.
- Do not apply paint or other coating to any part of the assembly.
- Do not apply lubricant to any part of the assembly.
- Remove damaged wire ends with wire rope cutters before inserting into the Clutcher.
- Always ensure minimum pull through of 50mm.
