The Ductmate 440 Butyl Gasket Tape provides a high compression flexible Gasket between mating flanges in ductwork when manufactured to DW144 Classes A, B and C.

Ductmate 440 Butyl Gasket Tape is a pre-formed strip of 100% butyl rubber compound which assures virtual airtight joints. It bonds immediately to the mating flanges without slippage or movement.

The 440 Butyl Gasket material will yield without breaking it's seal when the ductwork is prone to movement, particularly during erection and when under increased limits of pressure during air leakage testing procedures.

We recommend the use of this high performance Gasket on all ductwork subjected to pressure testing, especially when testing is carried out at 1000 Pa (4" water gauge) or over.
